There is one campground at West Branch State Park, and it’s large. Here you’ll find options for camping with tents all the way up to large RVs. There is even group camping! From the campground you can hike and explore the park, play disc golf, launch boats and enjoy the scenery.
The campground is one of the best we’ve ever been to with respect to the cleanliness of the facilities and bath houses. We can’t recommend it highly enough!
Reservations are highly recommended, and you may make them six months in advance. Be sure to get reservations during the summer months and on weekends in particular!
WEST BRANCH STATE PARK CAMPING SUPPLIES
There is a small camp store at West Branch State Park. You can go here for any last minute needs. To stock up on groceries, which we recommend doing ahead of your visit, you’ll want to go to Newton Falls, which is about 7 miles to the east.
If you are in need of a big box store or camping supplies, then head west to Ravenna, OH, which is about 8 miles away. Beyond Ravenna is the town of Kent, OH, which also has plenty of options for stores and supplies.
